10月31日,由成都东部新区管委会主办,三联人文城市、成都东部集团共同承办的展览“日常史诗:成都市民生活与公共空间”即将于成都東·壹·美术馆开幕。展览邀请历史学家、澳门大学历史系主任王笛作为学术主持,艺术家与建筑师梁琛、三联人文城市执行总编辑贾冬婷作为策展人,试图探究成都日常烟火气下隽永而深沉的文化积淀。門口建筑受邀,以成都玉林街道的空间记忆为出发点,为展览制作一件互动装置;虽然装置位置在展览流线的末尾,但上从入口处就可以透过中庭看到。我们设计了一道虚拟的城市界面,顺应三角形的展场,仿佛“屏风”折叠置入场地。“屏风”是我们对玉林院墙的抽象,面朝庭院的一面粘贴铝箔,是对外界的反射。这条“街道立面”也有长凳供观展者休息,以享受到中庭的日光和景观,也可以从两端看到重叠贯穿屏风的三角构图,形成连续的框景,回应和加强了美术馆的三角形窗洞意象,让装置在展陈空间中看似随意,实则妥帖;这件装置展现了門口建筑工作室一直以来的关注点:从周遭日常中获取能量,反馈环境获取信心。最终我们将装置以“拆 more than zigzag”为名,亦庄亦谐的暗示这里是我们日常世界的一个小小局部。
epos architecture is invited to design an art installation referring to the space and memory of Yulin neighborhood in Chengdu.Although the installation is placed at the end of the exhibition route, it can be seen through the inner yard from the entrance.We designed a simulated interface of the streets, following to the triangular exhibition hall, just like a folded screen in the place. The “screen” is a abstraction to the urban façade of Yulin neighborhoods. Aluminum foil is papered on the side facing the inner yard, reflecting the outside.This “façade of the street” also provides benches for resting visitors to enjoy the inner yard and sunlight. Through the triangular openings on the screens, the installation can be seen through from both ends, forming continuous framing, responding and strengthening the triangular skylight of the gallery. The installation looks random but proper in the space.This installation shows the persistent concern of epos architecture: obtaining energy from surrounding daily life, responding the environment and obtaining confidence. At last, we name the installation as “more than zigzag”, implying it being a little detail of our daily life in a seriocomic way.
